The famous actress compared shooting intimate scenes in movies now and 20 years ago.

Over the past 20 years, the film industry has seriously stepped forward. The same applies to filming explicit scenes. According to 51-year-old actress Jennifer Connelly, filming is now much more comfortable than in the years of her former youth.

The celebrity herself shone more than once in scenes with an “18+” die. In the film “Requiem for a Dream” with Jared Leto, she got the role of a heroine addicted to illegal substances, who went to great lengths to get what she wanted.

At the beginning of the 2000s, no one was interested in actresses how they felt, whether they were ready to do more. Professionals were required to do – and they had no choice. But now the work has become safer.

“In the past, the director has said, ‘Put the cameras close and rotate, and you guys just practice.’ Now there are coordinators of intimate scenes who act as intermediaries and make sure that everyone is comfortable, ”she shared in an interview with Marie Claire .

In recent years, Connelly has appeared infrequently in big-budget films. However, she took on the role of Penny Benjamin in the action movie Top Gun: Maverick with Tom Cruise, the premiere of which was attended by Kate Middleton and Prince Harry.
