Swedish director Johan Renck, best known for his work with the hit series Breaking Bad, Chernobyl, Vikings and The Walking Dead, has taken over as director of the Dune prequel. The new project was called “Sisterhood”.
The director of the original feature film, Denis Villeneuve, wanted to start shooting the first episodes of the series back in 2019, but abandoned this idea. Whether to expect Timothy Shalome in one of the main roles is unknown.
The premiere will be shown on the streaming service HBO Max. The creators are still keeping the exact release date a secret. This is reported by Deadline.
