Queen Elizabeth’s greatest love, in addition to her involvement with horses, is the lovable corgi. From the first time he received this dog breed as a gift at the age of 18, he knew that their company would accompany her forever. Thus, her second son, Prince Andrew, assumed that two new members were able to lift her spirits while his father and her husband, Prince Philip, were in the hospital.

According to the Sun, the two dogs were given to the Queen shortly after the Duke of Edinburgh was admitted to hospital. She did not intend to have new puppies, since she is now older, but her son had a different opinion, when he felt that her psychology was declining.
