That went quickly. A few hours ago, AS Roma already announced that the collaboration with current coach, Paulo Fonseca, would be ended after the season. And apparently they had also worked on his replacement: José Mourinho, a stunt.

That also went quickly. Barely two weeks ago, José Mourinho was thanked for services rendered at Tottenham. The results he achieved with Spurs were below expectations.

For the ‘Special One’ it is a return to Italy. He previously worked there at Inter. With the current club of Romelu Lukaku, the Portuguese took the national title, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League in 2010, after which he left for Real Madrid.

“After meetings with the management, it immediately became clear that the club has great ambitions,” said Mourinho. “The incredible passion of the Roma fans convinced me to accept this job. I look forward to the start of next season.
