Lady Kitty Spencer – the daughter of Count Charles Spencer (57) and his first wife Victoria Lockwood (55) – gave her yes last weekend in Frascati, a borough of Rome, Italy. She tied the knot with her beloved Lewis, with whom she had been a couple for several years. Lewis is the owner of Whistles, a clothing company whose pieces can be found at Bloomingdales in the United States and in many stores in the United Kingdom. His net worth is estimated at almost 100 million euros.
For the wedding and the party, the guests were welcomed in an imposing 17th century castle. Although the bride’s dresses really completed the fairytale picture, because Kitty showed up in no less than five different dresses. They were all designed by Dolce & Gabbana, as Diana’s niece has been an ambassador for the designer label for some time.
All the dresses were expertly handcrafted and Kitty chose an impressive variety of colours, fabrics and textures. Yet there was one eye-catcher : the sensual white dress with a high neckline and long sleeves, in which she pronounced her vows. Designer Domenico Dolce says Spencer wanted a “fairly traditional” yet “timeless” dress. But her other dresses were spectacular too.
Who is Kitty Spencer?
Diana’s niece grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, but now lives in London, where she works as a model. She was one of the guests at the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at St. George’s Chapel in the British capital. She is considered part of the British jet set. Before she met Lewis, Lady Kitty was in a relationship with 48-year-old Niccolo Barattieri di San Pietro. They broke up in 2017.
