Original Halloween star Kyle Richards recently relayed some of the praise she’s heard on the Vine about the upcoming sequel, Halloween Kills . Building on the 2018 legacy sequel, also titled Halloween , the film will see serial killer Michael Myers continue his rampage, with Kyle Richards now revealing that the highly anticipated horror release may well live up to the hype. media and beyond.

Halloween Kills marks Kyle Richards ‘return to the franchise since he starred in the 1978 original as young Lindsey Wallace, who was being groomed by Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode on that fateful Halloween night where Michael Myers terrorized the town of Haddonfield. While it looks like Richards hasn’t seen the finished movie herself yet, he’s clearly already getting a good buzz around the Hollywood Water Fountain.

Returning star Jamie Lee Curtis also recently discussed the general plot of Halloween Kills , revealing that the film will involve the wider Haddonfield community and its response to Michael Myers’ murderous antics. No doubt this is where the Richards back as Lindsey Wallace comes into game . “What we were seeing all over the land of power, raging voices, big groups of people coming together in anger at all of the circumstances, is what the movie is about,” Curtis revealed.

“The film is about a crowd. And so, it’s very interesting because it takes what happens when trauma infects an entire community. And we see it everywhere with the Black Lives Matter movement. We see it in action and ‘Halloween Kills’ strangely enough, fit into that, proceeded, it was written before it happened, but then of course, so when you see it, it’s a bubbling bunch of people. moving through the story like one big angry group, it’s really, really, really intense. ”

Curtis also gave his own take on the quality of the horror sequel, going so far as to call Halloween a masterpiece. With Curtis ‘praise and now Richards’ insight, Halloween Kills could end up being something very special indeed, and it should prove interesting to see Lindsey Wallace brought back into the franchise and explore the trauma she has had. no doubt suffered since that horrible night all those years ago.

Nick Castle will return to play the role of Michael Myers once again in Halloween Kills , alongside Curtis who will reprise the role of Laurie Strode. The supporting cast consists of Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Kyle Richards, Nancy Stephens and Charles Cyphers who are each reprising their roles from the 2018 and 1978 films, with Anthony Michael Hall and Robert Longstreet also joining the cast. Halloween director David Gordon Green will return to helm the project, working from a script written by himself, Danny McBride and Scott Teems.

Halloween Kills was originally slated to hit theaters last October, but has unfortunately been delayed due to the current global situation. Halloween Kills is now slated for release on October 15, 2021 with the follow-up Halloween Ends set to release a year later on October 14, 2022.
