I am very happy with two wins in a row. I have an extra game tomorrow and that is very good for my first clay tournament.”
The 31-year-old from Liège will meet Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena (ATP 79) in the quarterfinals. In his second round, he defeated the Portuguese Joao Sousa (ATP 90) in two sets (6-2 and 7-6 (7/4)).
