Cyberpunk 2077: patch 1.23 helps, but how?
In order to ensure the performance and stability of the PS4 version of “Cyberpunk 2077”, CD Projekt RED had to readjust and make some adjustments. Meanwhile Patch 1.23 has appeared which is particularly focused on Quest Playability as well as other focused gameplay and performance improvements – and it really does have an impact. But the side effect is the same clearly visible .
In a video that compares the performance of the PS4, PS4 Pro, and PS5, it becomes pretty obvious what price the RPG has to pay for a more stable frame rate.

The otherwise bustling and turbulent city, which contributes enormously to the mood of the game, has recently been swept away. It’s no surprise, after all, that things like NPC density consume an incredible amount of performance, so here we are looking first and foremost in favor of performance.
CD Projekt is still working on “Cyberpunk 2077” and trying to improve the gameplay on all platforms. With a future update, some residents and cars may find their way back into the game to make Night City a bit more lively and the first-person perspective more immersive.
Night City the New Novigrad: After all, it was The Witcher 3 revised with a few post-release updates and so after the first fixes, Novigrad also looked like a ghost town. This was then optimized and the streets were filled room by room.
Nonetheless, developer CD Projekt RED has one with the new listing in the PS Store. Note released that “Cyberpunk 2077” should be played on the PlayStation 5 or the more powerful PS4 Pro at best. In store, the game is therefore called PS4 Pro optimized excluded.
