In the first set Zanevska was immediately 0-3 and two breaks behind, but that didn’t upset her. She recovered with verve and steamed through to win the set 6-4. In the second set we got an exact copy of the first: again Zanevska quickly faced 0-3 and two breaks. She straightened again and won the five games that followed. The moment she was allowed to serve for tournament win, Kucova broke back and went from 5-3 to 5-5. The set culminated in a tiebreak, in which she still came out on top.
