When the eighth and final season of “Game of Thrones” came out, fans of the saga said that it ended prematurely. Now it has become known that the fans were not wrong. Writer Dorge Martin, author of the A Song of Ice and Fire book series, wanted more episodes and seasons.

Martin’s failed plans were revealed by journalist James Andrew Miller in his book Tinderbox: HBO’s Relentless Pursuit of New Frontiers. Miller spoke with the writer’s agent Paul Haas and found out interesting details.
“George flew to New York to have lunch with Plepler, ask him to film ten seasons of ten episodes because there was enough material for that, and tell him that it would be a more interesting experience,” Haas told Miller.

In total, George Martin offered the creators of the series to release 100 episodes of “Game of Thrones”, reports INSIDER .
